Bio

Clovia Tsoi is a photographer based in Toronto, Canada and Guangdong, China. She experiments with documentary and portrait photography, spending most of her time vacillating, observing, reflecting, and photographing the life she experiencing, to discover the beauty of different people. 

Clovia is always trying to absorb her surroundings and understand the connections between herself and the world around her. She enjoys recording the temperature of the environment and the emotions she observes, visually representing these intangible elements. Rather than creating, she prefers to capture the atmosphere. Clovia believes that all existence has meaning, and photographs resonate with us because they evoke memories or similar situations that we have experienced.

She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography Media Art at Toronto Metropolitan University and is expected to graduate in 2026.
